I weighed a number of whole unroasted cashew nuts and found the following:

The average weight of one cashew nut is around 1.5g (0.053oz).

Smaller cashews weigh around 1g, and a large cashew nut can weigh up to 3g.

Although cashew nuts are a good source of protein, they’re also high in fat and calories so if you’re counting yours, it’s a good idea to know how many are in a portion.
